Marcelo Bielsa on Leeds United wastefulness and injuries to Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas

The Whites went a goal behind at Elland Road on Tuesday night before equalising through Stuart Dallas. In the latter stages they created a number of chances, including two golden opportunities for Patrick Bamford and Helder Costa, but were unable to take them. Bielsa refused to criticise the Championship's bottom side for setting up to defend at Elland Road. "What they did was right," he said. "They played honest. They didn't make fouls, the referee didn't have an impact in the match. "But what is true that we arrive more than 12 times to score and they had just one chance. The opponent needed one or two chances to score and we needed 12 chances at least to score one goal. "Bielsa's team have been criticised on numerous occasions for their profligacy in front of goal, yet Bielsa was pleased with their ability to fashion so many chances in the face of a compact defensive rearguard. "I think that what happened today is something good for our team," he said. "If we play against a team that defends with all their players in their box and we have 12, 15 chances, we allow the opponent to shoot just twice, that is something positive for us. "But we cannot ignore the lack of efficiency was the weak point for our team. It was a match we should have won easily, because it was even clearer than the match of Cardiff. If from nine points we take just four this is something negative. What I described was what we deserved and what we took." The worry for Bielsa now is that both Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas limped out of the game, the former early in the first half and the latter in stoppage time. "I think it is a kick, very painful into the side but I don't think it's a heavy injury," said the Argentine of his captain Cooper. "I think [Dallas] felt something in the glute, but I don't think he is going to play in the next match."
