Leeds hospital patient slashed A&E staff during knife rampage
A judge gave a woman a 10-year extended prison sentence after she slashed Leeds A&E staff with a blade during an unprovoked spree of assaults.
Louise Revson, 23, wounded a St James’s Hospital doctor and porter with the weapon and “lunged” at a nurse who had treated her.
Sentencing Revson at Leeds Crown Court, Judge Robin Mairs told her: “This was utterly needless. You attacked the very people who were there to help you.”
